Sarcastic Sonnet #1

I watched the sea on sand and seat to sip;

My age has no concept without boring hip:

This speedo’s tight on me to woo my wife–

If she was not afraid for her own life.

I like believing I have it all good

Even though I’m fat and drunk without food.

I guess the salt sea wants to punch me here

To leave no bruise the waves do give, my dear:

My feet do shake from cold water ashore,

Global warming brought water to neck’s whore–

If only I was drunk today to see

That this illusion was so real to pee

Decisions; decisions: to sit? To stand?

I’m too old to sit, and too young to stand.
